Satheesh Malempati, the director of short-films such as 'Marmam' and 'Kanulu Kalisaayi', is now going to debut as a feature filmmaker. Marking his birthday on September 30, the title logo of his debut film 'Samidha' was unveiled.
Speaking about his journey, the newbie said, "Besides helming five short films, I have worked as an Assistant Director for a number of films. My debut film, 'Samidha', is inspired by true events. It's a commercial murder mystery thriller being produced by Arunam Films. The content-based film has got an interesting tagline: 'Chaavu Rendu Sandarbhallo Vastadi Evarikainaa..'."
Saying that the plot of the thriller revolves around the caption, he said that its genre is akin to an 'Anveshana' and an 'Agent Sai Srinivas Athreya'. "Besides well-known actors as lead actors, the likes of Posani Krishna Murali, Ravi Kaale and other noted artists are part of the cast," the director said.
Music is by Bheems Cecirolio, while Jawahar Reddy is the director of photography. Choreography is by Ganesh, Bhanu. Editing is by B Nageswara Reddy. Art Direction is by Narayanarao Muppala.
To be shot from December, the entire film will be shot in a single schedule. The release of the film will happen in Summer 2021.
