Recently, actor Sumanth was rumoured to be getting married. It was a promotional rumour created for his upcoming movie, 'Malli Modalaindi'. Directed by debutant TG Keerthi Kumar, the film has the 'Malli Raava' actor in the role of a young man who finds marriage repulsive. Naina Ganguly is its heroine.
Releasing a character intro poster on Saturday, the makers introduced his character with a touch of humour. "His relationship status is a question mark. He is self-centered, lives alone, and cooks well," the poster says. The film is about divorce and how remarriage can be an option.
Produced by K Raja Shekhar Reddy of Red Cinemas, the film has yesteryear actress Suhasini Maniratnam in a key role.
Also featuring Vennela Kishore, Manjula Ghattamaneni and Posani Krishna Murali, its music and cinematography are by Anup Rubens and Shiva GRN, respectively. Editing is by Pradeep E Ragav, while art direction is by Arjun Surisetty.
