Vishwak Sen says nobody can pull him down, declares 'Paagal' is a big hit

'Paagal', which headed to the theatres on August 14, is claimed to have minted Rs 6.6 Cr (Gross) in just two days. The huge figure has been billed as clear proof that the audience has backed the rom-com thoroughly.

Speaking today at the film's success meet, Vishwak Sen said that he can't be pulled down by anybody. "The audience has stood by me solidly. Despite the pandemic, low ticket prices, and the lack of second shows (together with low occupancy limits), our film has done it. Families are enjoying in multiplexes and single screens are shaking," the actor said, adding that 'Paagal' is a bigger hit than 'HIT'.

Nivetha Pethuraj, who has played the heroine, said that the love from people has been genuine. "The audience is watching the film multiples times," the actress added.

Producer Bekkem Venugopal thanked Dil Raju and Sirish for backing the movie.

Also starring Megha Lekha, Indraja Shankar and Simran Chaudhary, 'Paagal' is directed by Naressh Kuppili.
