'Ichata Vahanamulu Nilupa Radu', starring Sushanth in the lead, will be released in theatres on August 27. Its pre-release event was held on Tuesday. Here are the highlights.
Star director Trivikram Srinivas, who was the chief guest, said that Sushanth had so much ease in 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo'. "Since the film 'Chi La Sow', he has started re-inventing himself. They have shot a song in just one day. It shows the positive vibes. He is coming out of the image trap. I wish Abhinav Gomatam, Priyadarshi and actress Meenakshii all the best. Director S Darshan, I hope, will go a long way."
Sushanth said, "Prabhas anna had released the teaser of our movie. Since then, the likes of Samantha, Varun Tej and Naga Chaitanya have joined us. Chinamama (Nagaruna) released the trailer. I thank Trivikram garu for being here despite his busy schedule. Chinamama, during the making of 'Chi La Sow', advised me to think independently whether or not my film works commercially. Coming to 'IVNR', the producers have spent a great deal despite the fact that I am not a star, the director is a new guy. We received OTT offers as well for the movie. Pravin Lakkaraju is an amazing music composer. You will see a new Sushanth in the movie. 'IVNR' is a concept-based entertainer."
Producer Ravi Shankar Shastry said, "I have re-entered the film industry after a long gap. I am receiving the fullest support here. Sushanth is not only a handsome actor but is also very talented and hard working."
Director S Darshan said, "I thank my family members for standing by me. 'IVNR' is based on some real incidents. I waited for several years to tell it to the audience. This is an emotional film as well as an entertainer. Even though there were several OTT offers, the producers wanted to release 'IVNR' only in theatres."
Actress Meenakshii Chaudhary said, "Since this is my first movie, I am a bit nervous. The producers have been very cooperative. It was great working with a talented team."
Srinivas Avasarala said, "Producer Harish is a good friend of mine. I have known Sushanth as well for years. I wish everyone all the best."
