'Devineni' tells the life story of the popular political leader Devineni Nehru. 'Bejawada Simham' is its tagline. Nandamuri Taraka Ratna is playing the titular role. It's directed by Narra Siva Nageswara Rao.

Producers GSR and Ramu Rathod have said that Banerjee is playing Vangaveeti Radha, while Suresh Kondeti is playing Vangaveeti Ranga. Thummala Prasanna Kumar is Chalasani Venkata Ratnam. Music composer Koti is playing KS Vyas.

The film chronicles the friendship and rivalry between two Vijayawada politicians. The film's Motion Poster was released yesterday by Jeevitha Rajasekhar. The First Look was unveiled by the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce's KL Damodar Prasad. Speaking on the occasion, the guests said that the coronavirus has challenged the film industry. "It feels happy to see theatres attracting crowds. Taraka Ratna is a superb actor. This film will be his breakout one," they said.

Prasanna Kumar said that Taraka Ratna has done complete justice to the role. "Everyone has done a great job. I am happy to have played Chalasani Venkata Ratnam in it," he added. Suresh Kondeti said that playing Ranga's character has been a great experience. The film's director said that the hero has made a 'parakaya pravesham' into Devineni. "We have seen many Bejawada-based movies in the past. This one is completely different. We have shown some unknown truths here," he added.

The producers said that they have made a great movie.
