'Bhanumathi And Ramakrishna', headlined by Naveen Chandra and Salony Luthra, hit aha on July 3, 2020. It has been a year since it was out. Praised for its doses of realism, humour, and social commentary, the film received critical acclaim.
Aha today said that the film, which was a direct OTT release amid the first wave of Covid-19, found a mention in India Today's list of top 10 films to watch in the South for the year. The prominent daily, The Hindu, described it a slice-of-life romance, the platform noted.
Talking about his experience of doing the rom-com, Naveen Chandra has said that the movie helped him rediscover himself as an actor. "I was inspired by people from various walks of life to play Ramakrishna, a shy guy who smiles at life even if it is unfair to him. I will remain grateful to aha for helping such a wonderful story reach out to so many audiences," he added. Saloni said that the movie had a genuine story.
Meanwhile, Aha today announced that 'Oka Chinna Viramam' will stream from July 9. And 'Kudi Yedamaithe', starring Amala Paul and Rahul Vijay, will stream from July 16.
