The action-drama 'Narappa', starring Venkatesh in the lead, is the biggest direct OTT Telugu release of the year. Directed by Srikanth Addala, the film will start premiering on Amazon Prime from July 20.
To be released in 240 countries/territories, the film is touted to be an engaging drama co-starring Priyamani, Rajeev Kanakala, Karthik Ratnam and Rajsekhar Aningi. A remake of the Tamil film 'Asuran', it is produced by D Suresh Babu and Kalaippuli S Thanu.
Amazon Prime hopes to push the envelope further with the global premiere of 'Narappa'. The Direct-to-service release is one of the most-awaited ones this pandemic.
D Suresh Babu described 'Narappa' as a perfect blend of a mindfully crafted storyline, phenomenal direction, and brilliant performances.
