Vijay Deverakonda's popularity is helping 'Liger' pull off feats on social media. The First Look of the much-awaited pan-India flick, which is being directed by Puri Jagannadh, has clocked a whopping 2 million likes on Instagram.
The makers have said that this is the first poster of a south Indian movie to clock the whopping number on the photo-sharing app.
Revealing the figure, the makers unveiled a make-believe newspaper clipping in which 'Liger' is seen hugging the headlines. Deverakonda is described as a sensational south Indian hero in it.
Starring Ananya Pandey as the heroine, the film will head to theatres either in September this year or much later. Mike Tyson is rumoured to have got a cameo, but the makers haven't confirmed it.
