'Pushpaka Vimanam' is doing well at the box office, becoming Anand Deverakonda's second accepted movie, the first one being 'Middle Class Melodies'. The film is holding its ground, thanks to its comedy and the thrills the murder mystery aspect offers.
Director Damodara's treatment is being lauded by the audience. In the US and Australia, two of the Overseas markets where the Vijay Deverakonda production is going strong, the first weekend was encouraging. In the US, 'PV' has grossed more than USD 100,000.
In the Telugu States, 'Pushpaka Vimanam' is the one film that has romped home on the back of unmixed buzz. A source says that the comedy thriller, co-starring the likes of Saanve Megghana, VK Naresh, Sunil and Harsha Vardhan, is a clear winner.
With BGM by Mark K Robin, the film's genre shift in the interval has been appreciated by the audience.
