'Ikshu', starring Ram Agnivesh, Rajiv Kanakala, Bahubali Prabhakar, Chitram Srinu, Chammak Chandra, Rithu, Rekha Nirosha, and Fidaa, is produced by Ashwani Naidu and directed by VV Rushika. Its teaser was released today in five languages.
Speaking at the teaser launch event, composer Naveen Padisha said, "Ram Agnivesh, the hero, is looking like a chocolate boy. But his performance in the movie is different. He has worked really hard."
Director VV Rushika said, "I thank the producer for the opportunity. The team placed complete faith in me. I have done my best. This is my new movie. I have based it on true incidents. While Telugu is my mother tongue, it was my dream to do a Tamil movie as well. 'Ikshu' has been made in five languages."
Producer Vijay Murali said, "Rushika is the latest female director to make an entry. 'Ikshu' is a unique title. I thank police inspector Rajeshwari garu for being here today."
Kalaipuli G Sekharan spoke about the need on the part of producers to be aware of the challenges faced by the exhibition sector during festivals, when there are too many films jostling for space.
Inspector Rajeshwari said, "I am happy to have been invited here today. Innumerable dedicated offers are rendering yeoman services in the police department. I wish the team of 'Ikshu' all the best."
The film has music by Vikas Badisa, while editing is by Uddav SB. With cinematography by Naveen Togiti, dialogues are by Munna Praveen. If the lyrics are by Kasarla Shyam and Sri Siraag, the choreography is by Bhanu.
