The trailer for 'Tuck Jagadish' was released today at an event held in Hyderabad. Speaking on the occasion, Nani described the film as a potential nostalgic experience. In his own style, the 'Ante Sundaraniki' actor said that it has got a wide span.
"It's like our family. There are several emotions in it, just as there are several emotions in a family," Nani said. About director Shiva Nirvana, the actor added, "In 'Ninnu Kori', you saw his knack to pull off a love story. In 'TJ', it's about his ability to tell an intense family drama. Nowadays, family dramas have become not-so-deep. Our film attempts to be different," the 'Shyam Singha Roy' star said.
Speaking on the occasion, Nirvana defended Nani against the recent criticism. "Our movie is releasing on Amazon Prime on September 10. We had huge expectations about receiving cheers in theatres from the audience. Nani garu was dejected that we had no option but to skip theatres. The situation is really bad. Tell me, do you expect people above the age of 40 to show any interest to watch movies in theatres?" he said.
The event was also attended by Ritu Varma, who has played a VRO and Nani's love interset in the movie. Praveen, Thiruveer and others were also present.
