Prabhas has had two underwhelming releases after the 'Baahubali' movies. Both 'Saaho' and 'Radhe Shyam' failed to meet expectations. There was a time when we thought nobody has the ability to challenge Prabhas' stamina in the Hindi market in South India.
But now, Yash has sprung up. 'KGF 2' is dominating news cycles and if its collections cross Rs 300 or 400 Cr (Nett) in Hindi, it will be a huge thing. It will have surpassed 'Roudram Ranam Rudhiram'.
This makes it clear that Prabhas has to up his game. He is the only Tollywood actor to have featured in four pan-India films. Jr NTR and Ram Charan have just started out (Charan's 'Zanjeer' doesn't count, does it?). Allu Arjun has struck gold with his first pan-India film, 'Pushpa: The Rise'.
Expectations from Prabhas' 'Salaar' will rise now to the skies. Since the film is directed by 'KGF' maker Prashanth Neel, Prabhas will have to do a Yash. If 'Adipurush' becomes a hit in January 2023, a strong momentum will be built. Let's see!
