Demeaning question hurt me: 'DJ Tillu' actor Siddhu

Actor Siddhu Jonnalagadda was recently asked if he got to count the moles of his heroine during the trailer launch event of 'DJ Tillu'. The senior journalist who asked the question has been roundly condemned by the actress (Neha Shetty), journalists, and Netizens.

On Friday, Siddhu issued a statement saying that the question was demeaning and he responded to it in a calm and composed manner. "I wasn't going to lose my temper. I chose restraint. I definitely wasn't going to dignify the question with an answer. Period," wrote the 'Guntur Talkies' actor on Twitter.

The 'Krishna And His Leela' actor said that it takes a lot of courage on the part of actors, especially female ones, to do intimate scenes. Siddhu wrote that one hundred people are there on set and doing a kissing scene in their presence takes lots of courage.

"We entertain and we don't expect to be judged in our real lives based on what we do on screen," he suggested. The actor urged everyone to rest the issue here.

'DJ Tillu', directed by Vimal Krishna, will be released in theatres on February 11.
