'Acharya' has been postponed once again. It will NOT head to theatres on April 1 for Ugadi.
The new release date is this: April 29.
Why the postponement?
Konidela Production Company has said that it has been done to facilitate a gap between 'RRR' and 'Acharya'. 'RRR' will arrive at the cinemas on March 25. A mere gap of one week would affect both films. Moreover, both 'RRR' and 'Acharya' feature Ram Charan in the lead. Therefore, the postponement has been done in a healthy manner.
'Acharya', directed by Koratala Siva and starring Chiranjeevi as the first male lead, has chosen the Summer date after mutual negotiations with the makers of 'RRR'.
