The song 'Akdi Pakdi' from the Puri Jagannadh directorial 'Liger' is out. "The HYYYYYPEE. You guys are nuttsss. The blockbuster Mass Track of the year #AkdiPakdi is now yours. Join the hype - do the #LigerMassStep (sic)," Vijay Deverakonda tweeted today, releasing the foot-tapping number.
The crossover song is enriched by Puri's vision and the music by Lijo George and DJ Chetas. Anurag Kulkarni and Ramya Behara prove to be the right choice.
Ananya Panday joins the hero to deliver dance moves that keep pace with the beats of the song. The whole setting feels like it has been designed to woo the front benchers.
Also starring Ramya Krishna, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy and Ali, the film has Vishnu Sarma cranking the camera. With its first glimpse amassing the highest views in the first 24 hours and Vijay's semi-nude pose garnering record social media traction, 'Liger' has arguably become a talk of the town much before its release.
