Vijay Deverakonda can't care less about 'Boycott Liger' trend

'Boycott Liger Movie' is the latest Twitter trend pertaining to films. Netizens are attacking the Aug 25th release because it is produced by Karan Johar, who many see as being against the ruling BJP.

In a recent interview, Vijay Deverakonda remarked that one shouldn't pay too much attention to such social media campaigns. "Those who want to watch 'Liger' will do so in theatres. Those who don't want to will watch it on TV or OTT," the actor said.

The 'Geetha Govindam' actor is carrying a 'Don't care' attitude and rightly so. It seems he is confident about the success of his film after the encouraging response he has received in North Indian towns like Patna during the 'Liger' promotions. In any case, 'Liger' has to do well in Telugu first. And the Telugu audience don't care a bit about boycott campaigns.
