The official Twitter handle of the movie 'Roudram Ranam Rudhiram' may have committed a gaffe. The handle today shared a glowing review of the movie written by filmmaker-actor Siddhant Adlakha. The review, among other things, says that there is "homoerotic melodrama" in 'RRR'.
Homoerotic stands for this: Concerning or arousing sexual desire centered on a person of the same sex. In short, the review suggests that there is a homosexual attraction between the fictionalized characters Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem in the Rajamouli directorial. Needless to say, this is laughable.
The official handle of 'RRR' may have shared the review because it glorifies the film in the most splendid ways, but the term "homoerotic melodrama" is mentioned in the very summary shared by the reviewer. A number of fans of Jr NTR and Ram Charan are laughing at the hint of homosexuality.
