A distributor named Rajgopal Bajaj has penned a letter to Chiranjeevi, requesting him to compensate for the heavy losses thrown up by 'Acharya'. The distributor, who released the Koratala Siva directorial in Kalyan Karnataka (Nizam area), claimed to have incurred losses to the tune of 75% of the invested money.

Owing to the hype surrounding the Chiru-Ram Charan movie, Bajaj had bought the distribution rights for the Raichur district by paying a premium to Warangal Srinu, the well-known distributor.

In his letter to the 'Bholaa Shankar' actor, he said that the distributors of 'Acharya' are in deep distress due to the lukewarm response to the movie. "I am mired in deep debts now," he added.

The letter may not be representative of the broad situation, but it is undeniable that the distributors of 'Acharya' have incurred losses to the tune of 60% almost everywhere.
