'SVP': Intense scrutiny after Rs 75 Cr poster comes out

Mythri Movie Makers on Friday put out a poster saying that the first-day gross figure mopped up by 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' is a record-setting number. The poster says that Rs 75 Cr is what the Mahesh Babu-Parasuram movie grossed worldwide on Thursday (May 12).

Naturally, the claim has come under intense scrutiny by Netizens. Fans of Pawan Kalyan, Chiranjeevi, Jr NTR and Allu Arjun are trolling the makers for mentioning a record-setting number. They are contending that Guntur's Rs 5.83 Cr (Share) just can't be real. "It is surreal," a Twitter user said. On this basis, they are raising suspicions about the official claim. 'SVP' made Rs 12.50 Cr (Share) in Nizam, which is believable by all accounts.

Anything about big-star movies results in cyber wars. When a Power Star fan sarcastically asked the makers if they 'SVP' will cross Avatar's figures by the end of its run, a fan of Mahesh Babu asked why Mythri Movie Makers' claim is not being believed when their claims were taken at face value in the case of 'Pushpa' and 'Rangasthalam'.

Looks like there is no end to social media battles over 'SVP' anytime soon!
