'Bomma Blockbuster', starring Nandu Vijay Krishna and Rashmi Gautam as the lead pair, is written and directed by Raj Virat. The film was released in theatres on November 4. The makers today said that new shows and screens have been added from Saturday after the positive response from the audience.
One of the producers of the entertainer said that the confidence that he had reposed in the script and the director has paid off. "We went along with our convictions," he added.
Rashmi Gautam said that Nandu's Pothuraju is a character that every small-town youngster will relate to. "I thank Raj Virat, the director, for etching my character so well. We teamed up with newcomers with confidence. The father-son track is receiving a thorough response from the audience," she added.
Nandu said that everyone would love to travel with his character in the movie. He also lauded the emotional song about fathers written by Bhaskarabhatla, which he said is one of the highlights of 'Bomma Blockbuster'.
Also featuring Kireeti and Raghu Kunche, the entertainer is produced by Praveen Pagadala, Bosubabu Nidumolu, Anand Reddy Maddi, and Manohar Reddy Eada.
