Amazon Prime Video is next coming up with 'Ammu', a thriller film starring Aishwarya Lekshmi as a wife who is subjected to domestic violence. Naveen Chandra plays her husband, a cop given to aggression and anger issues.
To be released in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi on October 19, the film seems to be packed with innocence, melodrama, thrills, and drama.
The trailer of the thriller was released on Tuesday. We see Aishwarya's Ammu deciding to teach her husband a thorough lesson after undergoing years of domestic violence at his hands.
Bobby Simha has a key role. Helmed by Charukesh Sekar and produced by Karthik Subbaraj on Stone Bench Films, the show captures the "unpredictability of life".
