VT13, which is the tentative title of Varun Tej's 13th movie, is going to be a lavish Telugu-Hindi bilingual to be released in theatres next year. Set to go on the floors in November, the big-ticket action drama was launched today in Mumbai.

Sony Pictures International Productions and Renaissance Pictures are going to make the film in Telugu and Hindi separately and simultaneously, the way Adivi Sesh's 'Major' was done. Debutant filmmaker Shakti Pratap Singh is on board to wield the megaphone.

The rest of the cast and crew will be named in the coming weeks. It seems extensive pre-production is going to be put in place to get the Indian Air Force portions as authentic as possible.

Varun Tej, after doing a comedy like 'F3' and the boxing-based 'Ghani', is surely doing something versatile here. "I am playing a character with layers in the movie. I will be training in some things as part of my homework," the Mega hero said today.

The spectacle film is going to have a global release. Varun Tej is happy that Sony, with international reach in the domains of marketing and distribution, is backing his outing. "We are promising first-of-its-kind, patriotic, and edge-of-the-seat drama," the makers said.
