'Yatra' director Mahi V Raghav is the showrunner of 'Save The Tigers', which will stream on Disney Plus Hotstar from April 27. The characters played by Priyadarshi Pulikonda, Ahibnav Gomatam and Chaitanya Krishna feel that they are undergoing domestic oppression, thanks to their wives (played by Jordaar Sujatha, Pavani Gangireddy and Deviyani).

The pre-release event of 'Save The Tigers' was held in Hyderabad. The 6-episode series, whose first edition will be out this Thursday, is directed by Teja Kakumanu.

The actor-turned-director Teja thanked all the directors who have helped him grow. He revealed that it was creator Pradeep Advaitham who egged on him to wield the megaphone for the web series. Mahi V Raghav, the other creator, also came in for mention.

Cinematographer SV Vishweshwar said that he stumbled across hurdles right since the conception of the project. The web series even encountered budget-related issues.

Music Director Ajay Arasada said that he enjoyed scoring BGM for the fun-filled drama. Editor Shravan confessed to bursting out with laughter while editing the web original. He particularly endorsed Priyadarshi's track. The 'Jathi Ratnalu' actor has played the role of a well-off milkman in the series.

Chaitanya Krishna, whose character resists his wife's feminism in the series, described the writing in 'Save The Tigers' as top-class. He added that the original shows the dominant position gained by many wives in domestic settings these days.

Writers Vijay and Karthik spoke of getting inspired by true incidents.

Abhinav Gomatam said that he got to share screen space with so many artists for the first time since 'Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi'. He congratulated the showrunners for their effective planning.

Priyadarshi said that, unlike his recent outing 'Balagam', this series is an out-and-out entertainer.
