'Virupaksha' is a clean box-office hit. It is the dominant player at the Telugu box office despite the release of two new movies just last Friday. At the film's 'Thank You' meet-up today, the makers profusely thanked the audience.

It was made official that 'Virupaksha' will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam languages on May 5. A week later (on May 12), it will be released in Kannada.

Speaking on the occasion, Sai Dharam Tej thanked Dil Raju for being present on the occasion. He thanked everyone and also appreciated composer Ajaneesh B Loknath's music and Shamdat's photography.

The 'Republic' actor further said, "During the making of the film, I could not speak well (due to the aftereffects of a road accident). All my co-actors helped me a lot to tide over the crisis." The hero thanked his mother as well as the director's mother.

Producer BVSN Prasad said, "All the distributors believed in content the way we did. I thank them all on this occasion."

Presenter Bapineedu B said, "Thanks to the entire team for such a big blockbuster." He also thanked the audience and the media.

Director Karthik Dandu said, "The reason for writing this story is three of my friends, namely, Santhosh, Srikanth, and Clax. Clax is directing a movie currently. I thank Sukumar garu for providing the screenplay. I thank my hero who believed in the content and traveled with me."

Dil Raju said, "On the day of the trailer launch, I assured everyone that the film will do well at the BO. All the actors and technicians came together to give the best output. Producers Prasad and Baipineedu introduced 'SIR' director Venky Atluri (with 'Toli Prema) and now Karthik Dandu to the industry. I have done three films with Tej. 'Virupaksha' became the highest grosser in his career. If I do a movie with him again, I have to do a bigger hit."
