Two movies featuring Mass Maharaja and Natural Star are going to be in the re-release race this week (on February 24). They are 'Mirapakay' and 'Ala Modalaindi'.
'Mirapakay', starring Ravi Teja and directed by Harish Shankar, was released in 2011. Starring Richa Gangopadhyay as the heroine, it had Deeksha Seth and Prakash Raj in key roles.
As for 'Ala Modalaindi', the rom-com was originally released in theatres in 2011. Written and directed by Nandini Reddy of Sri Ranjith Movies, it was one of the earliest movies featuring Nani. For Nithya Menen, it was a promising Tollywood debut. The film was released amid low expectations. After listening to constant negative feedback, director Nandini lost all hopes. When she screened it to Nithya, she enjoyed it like crazy and assured the director that the movie would surely become a hit. That revived the director's hopes. When the movie was released, on day one, the director went to watch it on a single screen. The audience laughed even at ordinary jokes.
