'Writer Padmabhushan' has been acquired by Geetha Film Distributors from Chai Bisket Films and Lahari Films. Suhas of 'Colour Photo' (2020) fame is its main lead.
On Saturday, Allu Aravind's company announced that they bought the film after watching it. They decided to release the comedy-drama because they loved its content.
After 'Kantara' in 2022, GFD is hoping to start 2023 on a high note by delivering a hit with 'Writer Padmabhushan'.
Directed by newcomer Shanmukh Prasanth, the film has Tina Shilparaj playing the female lead. Ashish Vidyarthi, Rohini Molleti, Goparaju Ramana and Sri Gouri Priya have got other roles.
The fun-filled family entertainer is going to hit the cinemas on February 3.
