'Dasara' is slated to be released in theatres on March 30 across different languages. The pan-India film's teaser was unveiled a while ago.
Debutant director Srikanth Odela presents a new Nani, who looks aggressive, uncontrollable, dangerous, and bloodthirsty in the teaser. Starring the redoubtable Sai Kumar in a negative role, the film is set in a violent village named Veerlapally. For a change, the village is not a romantic place where the hero falls for the heroine (Keerthy Suresh, who is unseen in the teaser), fuelling a routine drama. 'Dasara', both symbolically and metaphorically, is the story of the victory of good over evil. So, expect tonnes of action.
"Raw, rustic, and ferocious," the makers tweeted, plugging the teaser.
Written by Jella Srinath, Arjuna Paturi, and Vamsi Krishna P, the film has got stunts by Real Satish and Anbariv. Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri and with music done by Santhosh Narayanan, the film has cinematography by Sathyan Sooryan.
Shine Tom Chacko, Dheekshith Shetty, Samuthirakani, Zarina Wahab and others are part of the cast.
