'SPY' has been described as a national thriller. The film, starring Nikhil Siddhartha as the hero, is heading to the theatres on June 29.

The news is that CBFC has awarded the film U/A certificate. No cuts were proposed by the Board officials.

As per the makers of the spy thriller, the Board members appreciated director Garry BH for bringing out an "enriching" and tightly-packed thriller whose run time is 135 minutes.

The other day, the film's trailer was unveiled. Speaking on the occasion, the 'Kartikeya 2' actor sounded sincere. "When an audience member is spending Rs 200-250 on a ticket, I want him or her to get the best experience. 'SPY' will deliver it," Nikhil said.

"Diving into the mystery of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and the secrets behind India's Independence (sic)," the hero wrote on Twitter. The film will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. Later, it will also be released in Bengali and Marathi.
