Vishwak Sen's 'Das Ka Dhamki' will hit the cinemas on March 22. At the film's pre-release event on Friday, Jr NTR was the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, the 'RRR' actor praised Sen to the skies.

Vishwak Sen is a ball of energy. I have always felt it is my responsibility to support him. I watch only very few movies. When I am tired, I watch 'Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi'. I can keep on watching Vishwak and Abhinav Gomatam in it, especially the former. He made the audience laugh without doing comedy. It needs a lot of confidence. I don't know where he got that confidence from. And that confidence has done a great deal of favour for him.
In 'Falaknuma Das', Vishwak was both a confident actor and director. When 'Paagal', I wondered if he was getting typecast. That changed when I watched 'Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam'. I was pleasantly surprised by it. He could transform himself completely in that family entertainer. On this very stage years ago, I promised my fans that I will reinvent myself as an actor. When I watched Vishwak in 'AVAK', I was shocked at his consummate acting. 'HIT: The First Case' was even more shocking. I can say with confidence that it is not easy to pull off such an intense role.
Vishwak is determined to prove something to himself. I want him to stop directing movies because a lot of young filmmakers want to experiment with young heroes like him. The stature of Telugu cinema has to be raised.
Recently, I had dinner time with Vishwak. He has invested everything in 'Das Ka Dhamki' (his father is the film's producer). He is so mad about cinema. Films like this one has to become a hit. This March 22, we should encourage this movie. I pray that Ugadi bodes well for him.
