'Hidimbha' is now heading to theatres soon. The Ashwin Babu-starring action entertainer, co-starring Nandita Swetha of 'Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada' as a cop, has been acquired by Anil Sunkara of AK Entertainments. Anil Sunkara is presenting it. The film's trailer was released at an event in Hyderabad on Friday. Sai Dharam Tej was the chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, 'Virupaksha' actor Sai Dharam Tej said that the trailer is really amazing. "All the very best to the entire team. It is a pleasure to support Ashwin's movie. I hope this film becomes a grand hit," the 'Republic' actor added.
Hero Ashwin Babu thanked his friend Tej for being there on the occasion. "I am proud that Tej has joined the hundred crore club with 'Virupaksha'. Pawan Kalyan is a favorite of both of us. Their film 'Bro' is exciting. Coming to 'Hidimba', is the highest-budgeted movie in my career. The producer did not compromise anywhere," he said adding that the director's treatment is brilliant.
Nandita Shweta said that Tej is her inspiration. "The trailer induces goosebumps. The movie is amazing. I played a very important role in this," she added.
Director Anil said that the concept of the movie is original with zero influences from other movies. "Our entire team has been very supportive. This is a film that goes from an investigative thriller to historical fiction. It is very different and fresh," he added.
With fights by Joshuva and Real Satish, the film also features Srinivasa Reddy, Sahithi Avancha, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Sanjay Swaroop and others.
