Chiranjeevi's new film: No romance, only VFX!

Megastar Chiranjeevi's 157th movie is going to be with 'Bimbisara' director Mallidi Vassishta. UV Creations is producing the pan-Indian movie.

In his latest interview, Vassishta revealed that the movie will not see the 'Acharya' actor romance. Chiru will be playing an age-appropriate role, the director has been quoted as saying by The Hindu.

The statement has been welcomed by the iconic star hero's fans, who were tired of watching him romance Tamannaah Bhatia and Sreemukhi in his recent disaster, 'Bholaa Shankar'. Mega fans are expecting Mega157 to feature Chiru in a dignified role powered by loads of VFX shots.

This is not to say that the untitled film won't feature any female lead. As per the buzz in the industry, Anushka Shetty is in consideration for a crucial role. Just that it won't be a romantic one.

The fantasy film rumouredly will have a child sentiment angle as the core emotional hook. The director has referred to Chiru's classic, 'Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari', in his interview. Its music and cinematography, respectively, are by MM Keeravani and Chota K Naidu.
