'Unlicensed' wax statue of Prabhas to be removed

A museum in Mysore, Karnataka, recently put out the wax statues of many historic personalities as well as a few fictional characters. Mahendra Baahubali's statue from 'Baahubali' was one of them. A picture of the wax statue has gone viral on the Internet in the last few days. The same has come to the notice of 'Baahubali' producer Shobu Yarlagadda.

The producer has stated that prior permission of the makers of SS Rajamouli's film was not sought by the owners of the museum. Efforts are therefore on to get the wax statue removed. "This is not an officially licensed work and was done without our permission or knowledge. We will be taking immediate steps to get this removed," Yarlagadda tweeted.

The statue has received flak for its poor artistic merit. Prabhas hardly looks like Prabhas; rather, he is looking like a mixture of cricketer David Warner and actor Ram Charan. Prabhas' fans would actually like the statue to be removed at the earliest. They are thanking Yarlagadda for his decision.
