In the Trailer of 'Uruku Patela', Patela (Tejus Kancherla) and his girlfriend Akshara are introduced as characters who are poles apart. The former is a midwit, while the latter is highly educated. Akshara falls for him, successfully ending his life-long search for an educated girl in the village.
Chammak Chandra, who plays Patela's sidekick, is shocked that such a well-read woman likes him. Of course, what is a rare love story without a plot twist? It turns out Akshara is a phantom with an ulterior agenda. When push comes to shove, Patela must either run or be condemned to death.
"The songs released so far, titled 'Patnam Pilla' and 'Ori Mayaloda', have been a hit. Today, we have unveiled the Trailer and it is engaging," the makers said. Khushboo Choudhary and Goparaju Ramana have key roles. Nellore Sudharshan is also seen.
With music by Pravin Lakkaraju, the film is written and directed by Vivek Reddy. The cinematography is by Sunny Kurapati. Edited by Sasank Vupputuri, its art direction is by Vivek Annamalai. With dance choreography by Jithu Master, the fights have been done by Rabin Subbu. Producer Kancharla Bala Bhanu is glad to be making his debut with Lead Edge Pictures.
The release date of 'Uruku Patela' is September 7. Its Trailer is spot-on.
