Producers TG Vishwa Prasad, Abhishek Agarwal and Anil Sunkara are reportedly investing Rs 100 crore on 'G2', Adivi Sesh's most expensive movie ever. The first two producers are confident that 'G2' has the potential to become their next 'Karthikeya 2'.
An investment of one billion rupees on Sesh's movie is unbelievably high. For perspective, Naga Chaitanya-Sai Pallavi's 'Thandel' has been made on a budget of Rs 75 crore. Perhaps, Sesh's remuneration alone is around 30% of the budget.
'G2' must become a super-hit venture in Telugu and Hindi. If not, People Media Factory, Abhishek Agarwal Arts and AK Entertainments would be deemed to have made an unwise investment. If they are investing this much more than one year after the project was greenlit, probably, the OTT and satellite rights have fetched them very good amounts on the back of Sesh's track record and credentials.
Adivi Sesh's 'G2', a spy thriller, also features Emraan Hashmi. Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi is its director. The film will be released in theatres sometime in 2025.
