Allu Arjun was today released from jail 12 hours after the High Court gave him interim bail. The police showed frivolous reasons to keep him under detention the whole night. He was reportedly treated as an ordinary prisoner.
Bunny headed to the Geetha Arts office from jail. There, he reportedly chatted with a lawyer about the case. He learned about the arguments made in the court to get him interim bail.
Later, as he reached his residence, his mother welcomed him with harathi. He hugged his son.
Speaking to the media, Allu Arjun said that the stampede was unfortunate and purely accidental. "I have been watching my movies at the theatre for the past 20 years. Never has such an untoward incident happened. I will be there for the victim's family. I thank everyone for their support," he said. He added that he is safe and there is nothing to worry about him.
Allu Arjun avoided saying anything pertaining to his excessive arrest in an unfair manner. He didn't touch upon the facts of the case or the court arguments by his lawyer. As the matter is sub judice, he was mum on the specifics.
