Vishwak Sen is going to witness a series of releases in the coming 12-15 months. On March 8, his much-delayed 'Gaami' will arrive at the cinemas. The film has him in the role of an Aghora who speaks too little. The crowd-funded flick seems experimental on the surface but is commercial in a lot of ways.
Then there is 'Gangs Of Godavari'. Produced by Sithara Entertainments, the film's post-production works have been delayed. It might hit the cinemas in May or so. Starring Neha Shetty as the heroine, 'GoG' is a medium-range movie that will get a smooth release in theatres.
Three other movies are in different stages of making: 'Mechanic Rocky', 'Laila' and 'CULT'. Sen is gung-ho about the last, particularly.
Sen, after 'Das Ka Dhamki' and 'Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam', is trying otu new genres. These five films will determine the longevity or otherwise of his career for the next ten years. At least three of them look like safe bets.
