At a time when the Ayodhya Ram Mandir issue has become a national topic, a film titled 'Rama Janmabhoomi' has been made by director Samudra. The senior filmmaker has also bankrolled the movie under Samudra Movies. Its interesting Teaser has been unveiled.
Speaking at the Teaser launch event, veteran actor Murali Mohan said that the chant 'Jai Sri Ram' has been renting the air across the country. "Samudra garu has delivered a number of hits in the past. He is back in full form yet again. I wish the team of this film all the best," he said.
BJP leader from Telangana, Madhavi Latha Kompella, said that Sri Rama is worshipped with great devotion because he never strayed from a dharmic path despite facing adversities. She also took the opportunity to laud Prime Minister Narendra Modi's governance track record in Kashmir. "By abrogating Article 370, the PM has ended stone-pelting in Kashmir," she added.
Samudra said that his film conveys an important message for youth, who must follow idealistic politics. "Rama was the ideal king, ideal son, ideal brother. It is important for the young generation to imbibe lessons from his life. My film conveys this message," he added.
Actor Jai Siddharth, who plays the protagonist, said that he is proud to have teamed up with a director who has delivered hits like 'Simha Raasi', 'Siva Ramaraju', 'Tiger Harischandra Prasad', 'Sevakudu', 'Panchakshari' and others.
The film also features Sri Radha, Nassar, Suman, Ajay Ghosh, Sunil, Anupam Kher, Kannada Kishore, 'Baahubali' Prabhakar, Dev Gill and others. Its music is by Ravi Shankar.
