On November 22, four films are heading to theatres and each of them is carrying a low buzz. The pre-Pushpa releases belong to different genres.
1. Mechanic Rocky: Starring Vishwak Sen in the lead, the film is an action comedy. Meenakshi Chaudhary and Shraddha Srinath are its heroines.
Merits: Vishwak Sen alone.
Demerits: Unexciting pre-release material, run-of-the-mill genre.
2. Zebra: Starring Satyadev Kancharana, Satyaraj, Sunil, Daali Dhananjaya and Satya, the film is a crime comedy. Priya Bhavani Shankar plays Satyadev's romantic interest.
Merits: Almost nothing. The genre might appeal only and only if the content is superlative. Otherwise, it has become an OTT genre.
Demerits: No star cast that can pull the audience to theatres; Weak pre-release material.
3. Devaki Nandana Vasudeva: Starring second-time hero Ashok Galla as the male lead, the film features Mansaa Varanasi as the heroine.
Merits: Literally nothing. If you want to be a bit charitable, you could count on Prasanth Varma's storyline (not the story but the storyline).
Demerits: Laughable trailer reminiscent of films like 'Aadikeshava'; Least exciting star cast.
4. Roti Kapda Romance: The rom-com stars Harsha Narra, Sandeep Saroj, Tarun, Supraj Ranga, Sonu Thakur, Nuvveksha and others.
Merits: Nothing, if you are talking from a theatrical perspective. The Trailer is just about okay.
Demerits: New star cast who can't pull crowds to theatres; The wrong genre for today's times.
