Samantha Ruth Prabhu has spoken of leading a difficult life after her divorce with Naga Chaitanya in 2021. She said that she has had to face unsavoury descriptions and comments about herself.
“When a woman goes through a divorce, there is a lot of shame and stigma attached to that. I get a lot of comments saying, ‘second hand, used, wasted life’. You are pushed into a corner where you are supposed to feel like a failure. You are supposed to feel guilt and shame that you were once married, and now you are not. It can be really hard for families and girls who have gone through that,” the star heroine of 'Majili', 'Shaakuntalam', 'Rangasthalam' and 'Yashoda' has been quoted as saying.
Samantha was most recently seen in 'Citadel: Honey Bunny', streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
Samantha recently stated that the amount she spent on giving her ex (read Naga Chaitanya) expensive gifts was a total waste. Chay, meanwhile, is going to marry Sobhita Dhulipala on December 4. It will be a traditional wedding that is going to last eight hours. The other day, Chay's birthday was celebrated by her fiance in Goa.
