'Amaran', the blockbuster movie, will start streaming from December 5. It will stream on Netflix. "Watch Amaran on Netflix, out 5 Dec in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi! (sic)," wrote Netflix, announcing the date. Starring Sivakarthikeyan in the role of a martyr, the film stars Sai Pallavi as his girlfriend. Directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, 'Amaran' minted nearly Rs 300 Cr (gross).
'Matka', starring Varun Tej in the lead, will stream on Amazon Prime Video from December 5. It is directed by Karuna Kumar. Considered the biggest flop in the career of Varun Tej, 'Matka' also features P Ravi Shankar, Naveen Chandra, Meenakshi Chaudhary and Nora Fatehi in predictable characters and situations.
'Amaran' was released in theatres for Diwali. It is arriving on OTT after 35 days. 'Matka' was released in theatres in the middle of November. It is arriving on OTT less than three weeks.
