The golden jubilee celebrations marking Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 50 years in the film industry were held on Sunday. Megastar Chiranjeevi and several other guests were present.

Speaking on the occasion, Nandamuri Balakrishna said, "I extend my sincere gratitude to all my fans, fellow actors, and everyone who has worked with me. To my parents, who gave me life, I will forever cherish the love you've bestowed upon me. I would also like to thank my family, producers, directors, actors, artists, technical team, hospital staff, the people of Hindupur, and my fans for making this celebration a grand success. A special thanks to MAA, Producers Council, Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce, Shreyas Media, Sai Priya Construction, and others who have supported this event. Acting wasn't the only thing I learned from my father. I also learned discipline, punctuality, and cultural values from him, as well as from Akkineni Nageswara Rao. While we may compete in the film industry, I believe in healthy competition. I am deeply indebted to everyone who has contributed to my success in cinema, politics, and medical services. And finally, a heartfelt thanks to my wife, Vasundhara."

Chiranjeevi said, "We are delighted to celebrate 50 years of Balayya Babu's cinematic journey. This is not just a celebration for him but for Telugu cinema as a whole. Balayya is rightfully proud of his unique achievement. NTR holds a special place in people's hearts. It's remarkable that Balakrishna has captivated audiences by portraying roles originally played by his father. He has proven himself to be a worthy successor. I consider 'Samara Simha Reddy' to be the perfect follow-up to 'Indra'. I have always wanted to do a faction film with Balayya. Our fans are passionate and dedicated. We have always organized events to foster camaraderie among fans. This has contributed to their strong bond. Balayya is revered by everyone, not just his fans. They celebrate together, regardless of the occasion. Even after 50 years, Balayya continues to grace the screen as a leading man. I pray for his long life and continued success. His contributions to politics and medicine are invaluable and beneficial to society. We are like a family, and I hope fans will understand this sentiment."

Venkatesh said, "Coming from NTR's family, Balayya Babu has earned a special place for himself. He has a specialty. Your journey of 50 years is worthy of emulation for many newcomers."

Kamal Haasan, in a video message, said, "Balayya is a person remembered by everyone for his cultured manners. He regards his father NTR as his God. Balayya means pure mind and free spirit. I wish him to live a hundred years with good health and wealth."

Manchu Mohan Babu, Vijay Devarakonda, Siddu Jonnalagadda, Adivi Sesh, Allari Naresh, Manchu Vishnu, and many others also attended the event.
