The buzz in the town is that 'Devara' is not a predictable story. Koratala Siva has apparently got a super-exciting twist in store for the audience. Soon after the arrival of the film's Trailer, Netizens started the mandatory decoding job, producing fan theories.
A theory is that Devara and his son, both played by Jr NTR, are revealed to be rivals in the climax. This will ostensibly be a mind-blowing lead up to 'Devara 2', which will be about a Devara vs Vara clash.
Another theory is that Devara's son pretends to be timid but he has a double life. Either Vara is Devara's assassin or, after an exile, he returns as a duplicate Devara to fulfil his father's unfinished agenda. If the former is the case, comparisons with the Baahubali-Kattappa arc will be inevitable. If it is the latter, it is not really a twist unless the second half is about Vara posing as Devara to fool his people with noble intentions.
There are theories that Janhvi Kapoor is the daughter of Srikanth's character, a black sheep who clandestinely joins hands with Saif Ali Khan's Bhaira. What sort of a twist will emerge from this is to be seen.
'Devara', with music by Anirudh Ravichander, will hit the cinemas on September 27.
