R Narayana Murthy, the actor-filmmaker who was known for social dramas like 'Dandora' and 'Erra Sainyam', is the one who has been known as People's Star. Since his movies batted for the underprivileged, the sobriquet was never seen as an apt one.
It's strange that Sundeep Kishan, who has only done commercial movies, has adopted Murthy's sobriquet. It feels like a complete mismatch.
Interestingly, the 'Ooru Peru Bhairavakona' actor has also started spelling his second name as Kishn. Apparently, a Numerologist had advised him to do so.
Sundeep Kishan's upcoming movie, 'Majaka', is a Sankranthi 2025 release. Directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina, the family entertainer stars Rao Ramesh in a pivotal role. It is evident that the actor is trying his best to rebrand himself with 'Majaka', his best bet in several years.
