Narendra Modi's biopic, titled Maa Vande, stars Unni Mukundan as India's 3-time PM. Director Kranthi Kumar CH is not making the film as a dry political drama. Rather, he is honing it as an emotional human drama where Unni's Modi bonds at a profound level with his mother, Heeraben.

The project went on the floors today after a formal launch ceremony. While the makers have yet to announce the release date, it is expected to come out before a major election season or at an epochal moment of India's history.

Also starring Raveena Tandon (the Bollywood actress), Maa Vande will be released in many Indian languages as well as Hindi.

A massive technical crew has been assembled for the prestigious biopic. King Solomon of Baahubali, Kalki 2898 AD, RRR and Eega fame will be choreographing the action scenes. Ravi Basrur of KGF and Salaar fame will be composing the BGM. KK Senthilkumar, the cinematographer of Baahubali, RRR and Magadheera fame is on board. Sabu Cyril, the production designer of Enthiran, Baahubali and RRR fame is on board. Silver Cast Creations is producing the movie.
