Thandel is highly anticipated. Geetha Arts is making this romantic action drama on a grand scale. The movie stars Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi in lead roles. It is gearing up for a grand release on February 7.
Interestingly, a small film headlined by Brahmanandam, his son Raja Goutham and leading comedian Vennela Kishore is also gearing up for a release on the same day. The film is BrahmaAnandam. It is produced by Rahul Yadav Nakka of Agent Sai Srinivas Athreya and Masooda fame.
When Thandel was moved to February 7, it was assumed that BrahmaAnandam would be postponed. But, in the New Year Day poster put out by the makers of the Brahmi film, the release date is reconfirmed as February 7. Thandel will be the most important Tollywood release after the Sankranthi movies (Game Changer, Daaku Maharaaj, and Sankranthi Vasthunam). Its release will be huge. BrahmaAnandam might have to settle for secondary screens in a lot of territories.
