Newcomers and relatively fresh faces, especially lead actors, have a challenging time navigating mainstream roles in Telugu cinema. A Tollywood hero, even a newbie, is subjected to tough standards by the audience. It is no joke to headline a Telugu film and ace a performance. Actor Dharma, the budding Telugu cinema hero, has achieved the feat in style.

His movie, Drinker Sai, was released last week. As Sai, a well-meaning rich brat who doesn't know how to conduct himself with filters, gets into trouble after a beautiful college-goer fools around him. Showing rage, frustration, helplessness and love, Dharma embodies the protagonist's multi-dimensionality. His dancing skills are good.

Dharma distinguishes himself in the industry with his good looks, youthful style, and confident demeanor. His authenticity shone through during the Drinker Sai promotions, where his genuine speeches and humble demeanor garnered significant respect from the audience.

Dharma about himself: "I am from Hanuman Junction in Guntur. I have always been passionate about acting and dancing, especially Chiranjeevi garu's songs. I participated in school plays, which further ignited my interest in films. My grandfather was an exhibitor, and my father worked with renowned producers. While there were suggestions to pursue filmmaking, my father initially discouraged me. Despite this, I worked in theaters and watched films daily, dreaming of becoming an actor."
