Today, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu visited Mumbai to check on Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. The Ustaad Bhagat Singh star recently underwent a crucial three and a half hour shoulder surgery. The operation took place at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital.
Naidu briefed the media after meeting Kalyan and his wife, Anna Konidela. He shared that the surgery on Kalyan's right shoulder was a complete success. The CM noted that Kalyan wanted to return to his official duties immediately after waking up. However, Naidu advised him to focus on getting adequate rest instead.
According to the medical team, Kalyan had neglected a severe shoulder injury for many years. His condition grew worse during public meetings. Enthusiastic supporters often pulled and jostled him, which aggravated the joint. Recent medical examinations revealed that the issue had become too severe to ignore. Doctors then advised immediate surgical intervention.
Kalyan's health condition is currently stable. He will remain under medical supervision and start physiotherapy soon. Doctors stated that he needs three weeks of regular physiotherapy to heal properly. This care should fully resolve the issues in his right shoulder.
The medical team also discovered a separate problem in Kalyan's left shoulder. They plan to let the right shoulder recover first. Doctors will reevaluate the left shoulder in six months. At that time, they will decide if he needs another surgery or just more physiotherapy.
Naidu assured the public that the OG actor is recovering well, further adding that he will return to public life soon. The CM stated that Kalyan will resume his service with renewed energy and perfect health.
