All performances in Transfer Trimurthulu are to-the-dot, said actor Naveen Vadde, speaking at the movie's trailer launch event on Friday. The film, featuring him in the role of an upright constable, will open in theaters exclusively on June 19. Zee network has bought the movie's rights for an outright price.
The trailer was unveiled in the presence of filmmaker VV Vinayak, whose humility Naveen mentioned. "He has always been like this from the beginning. I am glad he went on to become such a big name in the industry," the actor added. Vinayak happened to get in touch with Jr NTR while working as a Co-Director on a Naveen Vadde movie in the early 2000s. So, that special connection is there between the duo.
Vinayak said that Naveen comes with so much potential. "Almost 90% of the movies he did were not to his liking. He used to do those scenes with dislike. He used to be restless. One day, while working on his movie, he advised me to immediately become a director and offered his fullest support. I thank him for encouraging me. He has for long been wanting to do films that he totally prefers. Transfer Trimurthulu is one such. I sincerely hope that the film will become a big hit," the maker of Aadi and Tagore said.
The makers promised that the film features a solid courtroom drama. While the trailer doesn't reveal much, there is a lingering suspenseful plot. "No single film owns a release date. Rather than focusing on competition, we believe that audiences will always turn out to support high-quality storytelling. We have grounded this project in a strong, realistic narrative," Naveen shared, also thanking the team at Zee Studios for backing the project. "Even though my character goes against the Chief Minister of the state, the larger-than-life element is naturalistic. The protagonist is within the system. The courtroom scenes are dramatic and thrilling. The question of 'What next?' keeps popping up in the audience's mind throughout," Naveen, who has produced the movie on Vadde Creations, shared.
Director Kamal Teja Narla shared that, with each promotional asset, the buzz around Transfer Trimurthulu has been going up. "Characters with larger-than-life traits have to be organic. I haven't attempted anything like that here. The protagonist in this movie is not over-the-top. He may be up against the Chief Minister himself, but it's not on the nose. The face-off between the constable and the CM is not the overwhelming ingredient. What unfolds in his life during his stint after a transfer is what the film is about," the filmmaker added.
Raashi Singh, who plays the hero's wife, shared that her character is relatable. "Trimurthulu gets his strength from his wife, Lakshmi. How family is paramount has been portrayed through our characters," the heroine added.
The film also features Shilpa Tulaskar, Vivek Raghuvanshi, Raghu Babu, Siva Narayana, Vadlamani Srinivas, Jwala Koti, Devi Prasad, Surya, Baba Bhaskar, Pramodini, Sathvik Raju, Anjali Priya, and Gayatri Chaganti.
The crew behind the project features a talented lineup of technicians and artists. Cinematographer Karthik Sujatha Saikumar is joined by composer Kalyan Nayak. On the editing table, Vijay Muktavarapu shapes the narrative. The project’s dynamic action sequences are choreographed by Robin Subbu and Ram Sunkara, with Vijay Polaki and Dinesh directing the dance choreography. Art director Bhikshapathi Kandakatla has also worked on Transfer Trimurthulu.
