'Romantic' will be released in theatres on October 29. Ahead of its release, music director Sunil Kashyap talks about composing music for the movie, working with Puri Jagannadh (writer) and Anil Paduri (director, actors Akash Puri-Ketika Sharma duo, and more.

It was a happy experience working on the movie. 'Peene Ke Baad', the song, has been a big hit. The song came out of us, the 'iSmart Shankar' group. It was conceived and executed playfully. The composition was a fun experience. Since the title of the film is 'Romantic', we got into a playful mood and conceived the songs accordingly.

Director Anil Paduri was excited throughout. He was particular about the kind of songs he wanted. Ketika Sharma sang the 'Na Valla Kadhe' song (cover version) and her rendition is beautiful. Her voice is amazing. My friends are giving me very good feedback for 'Peene Ke Baad'. Doing this film has made me really happy.

The other day, I was spellbound by his speech at an event of the film. He is a passionate actor and will make it big one day. Although he is very young, he has got so much maturity.

Director Anil was very meticulous and gave me beautiful inputs as a director. We loved the project totally and gave it the best shot. The second half is going to be the best. The emotions are very strong and will suck the audience in. After watching the final cut, Puri Jagannadh garu got emotional. We are hoping for the best.

We constantly tried to perfect the output. It's because we thoroughly loved the project and bonded strongly with Puri Jagannadh garu. We were happy throughout and gave our best.

Lyricist Bhaskarabhatla has played a major role. For example, 'Peene Ke Baad' has creative usages. The lyrics left me spellbound. 'Naa Valla Kaadhe' is another beautiful song.

Giving 'next level' film is not in our hands. If a film becomes a hit, its album grows in popularity. Compared to the past, my career is in a very good position. I want to do classical fusions independently in the future.

'Godse', starring Satyadev Kancharana, is my upcoming movie. I am in talks for two other movies.
