'Kalasa', starring Anuraag, Sonakshi Verma and Roshini Kamisetty, is a psychological thriller. The film is written and directed by Konda Raam Babu, while it is produced by Dr. Rajeswari Chandraja Vadapalli. The project was today launched in the presence of Murali Mohan and others.
Speaking on the occasion, Anuraag said, "This is my third film. The story of our movie is really thrilling. My character is novel. I wish the producers the best." Sonakshi Verma said, "I thank the director for keeping faith in me and roping me in for this challenging role." Roshini said, "'Kalasa' is being made with a novel point. I feel fortunate to be a part of this venture."
The director said that the film's subject is entirely novel. "This is an intense and emotional flick. We are making it to match the standards of Hollywood. Chandraja garu, our producer, is a singer who holds a world record for being able to sing in both male and female voices. We are spending Rs 3 Cr on erecting the set of a house," the filmmaker said.
The producer is happy that she is debuting with a "great film".
The film also stars Ravi Varma, Sameer, Jeeva, Racha Ravi, Raju of 'C/o Kancharapalem' fame, Koteshwar Rao Manav, Bosu Babu, Navya, Aamer and others. Lyrics are by M Sagar Narayana. Costumes are by Suneela Anmireddy. Art direction is by Yalamanchili Karish Kumar. Editing is by Junaid Siddiqui. Cinematography is by Venkat Gangadhari. Music is by Padmanabh Bharadwaj.
